Gary has practiced law in Nashville and throughout the state of Tennessee since 1993.
Gary focuses on litigation primarily insurance defense, personal injury, wrongful death, and employment defense. In 2015, a publication listed him as the most prolific trial lawyer in the State of Tennessee.
Gary is a graduate of Fisk University. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from The University Of Tennessee College of Law in 1992. While in law school, he was a member of the National Constitutional Law Moot Court team. After graduating from law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Barbara N. Haynes.
Mr. Kellar is admitted to practice in all state and appellate courts in Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Gary appreciates the opportunity to get to know is clients and that at the end of the case he has helped them.
Gary's hobbies include, cycling, golf and travel. He loves working in his church and Sunday School. He and his lovely wife Mary E. Watts, DDS have three adult children.
